Thanks for the welcome. I'm retried so we do a bit of traveling but LOVE plants and flowers. I started playing with figs about 3-4 years ago but only have a few common ones. Two inground and 3 in pots. I grow alot of cut flowers for bouquets to sell in spring summer. Mostly outdoor raised bed gardening. And belong to the local iris club.
I got the garden name because every morning I'd go out to cut flowers I'd find bees sleeping on them. So many sleeping bees LOL So It kind of found me.
Got my first crop of figs last year from my inground MSVS. The other inground is a chicago hardy I bought that was from tissue culture. I'm about ready to pull that one out. It's still 6" tall 3 years later. The potted ones I bring in the house during winter and have learned from Figgy Ed more about that.
Looking forward to learning more from this group.
