Welcome... everyone!

Hello everyone! 😊
Thank you all for welcoming me here! 😎

I have a little bit of land and I just started getting figgy wit it this past spring. I’ll be getting some more in the ground this coming spring and I’ll hopefully start testing some grafting out. It would be awesome to eventually create my own variety if I start getting into growing seeds. Anyone have experience growing seeds without fig wasp and possibly without capri fig pollen? I have heard some seeds can sprout without capri fig pollen but I’m not sure if that is true.

You can buy dried figs and remove the seeds and grow...most come from Turkey. :)

It is a rare occurrence that a fig seed will grow with out being pollinated. It will grow to be an exact copy of the mother tree. Growing from cuttings is better and faster. If you want interesting seedlings. Buy dried anjeer figs. They have pretty leaves :)
