Thanks. I'm just a beginner with growing figs. I have a Celeste, LSU Gold, and VioletteDeBordaeu in containers. I actually got the Celeste last year and it's bigger than the other two that I got this week.

Welcome to figfanatic, those are all good figs.
Celeste is a staple, strong producer, small but good tasting.
VdB is a little late but a really good tasting fig as well.
LSU Gold is good but doesn't do so well here in the south.

before you know it you'll have 100 potted figs and looking for your next fix, welcome to the club. lol

Yeah, I found that out about LSU Gold after reading more about it online after I bought it. I now regret that I didn't get the Green Ischia that the nursery also had available. I think I'm going to go back and get the Green Ischia.

Green Ischia is a good one too, nice berry flavors, more strawberryish to me.
Though I don't have that one any longer.
Most green figs with red/redish interior are going to be good!
