Glad to see this is a very active place. Just started growing this year (Erie, PA zone6) with a Chicago hearty. Got about 50 cuttings from a friend and currently have them stored in the fridge. Any recommendations on when I should start the rooting process?

Lots of people root straight through the winter.
I'm at the point where starting in February is a good time.
That way when they're ready for up pot you should be close to the last frost date.
