Warm weather crops up here

After many days of abnormally cold, rainy weather up here in Southern Ontario, my warm-weather crops are doing surprisingly well

Looking good.

Everything has stalled out here over the last week. Rain and high temperatures in the 50s with lows in the upper 40s. Next week we should get back into the 70s for highs and mid 50s for lows. The bright side is we are finally out of a drought since last August and the grass is back to green. Weeds are loving it too.

Yeah, they are saying we got a rare Nor’easter that we haven’t seen in decades. I sure don’t want to see this kind of weather in late May again. When do your tomatoes normally begin to ripen for you?

Last year was my first year starting from seed and I think I began picking tomatoes around mid-July.
