Made it through the winter. Yippee? Today is another gorgeous day. I just had to see how it did because all this freezing cold winter had me biting my finger nails. I wrapped my trees with only burlap, tarpaper and a tarp. Well I checked 2 trees today. Vince and Chicago Hardy. They both scratched green at the base of the trunk. They're tied really good so I can't lift the tarp higher. Anyway here's a picture of the trunk of Vincent #3

I’m anxious for spring to get here so I can uncover my trees and see if there’s any damage on the entire trees.

Congratulations on the green!! What a relief! ! I too would be biting my fingernails if I had Vince #3 in-ground this winter!
