Vince #3

I used to get around a dozen breba on my mother tree more or less. It was pretty root bound but they were large similar size to a Dalmatie breba flavor is similar to maincrop but not as intense berry more of a honey berry i would say. I have taken allot of cuttings off my trees last couple years so have not got much breba last couple seasons but they are delicious.
Nelson, That is great to hear that it produces a notable amount of Breba. Many Adriatics don't produce any breba or very few. I would think it's another supporting argument that Vince #3 is a unique variety.

My pleasure my friend, im happy other fig lovers and enjoying it as much as I have the last decade. Its so true the pulp gets ever darker as it starts to cool down and I have had it more golden like a honey fig the odd year when it ripens in mid Aug. Brebas are really tasty specially as the tree ages and large too.
I’m really excited to grow Vince #3 some day!!

Do you find the taste is different when the appearance is different, a.k.a. if it ripens when it’s cooler versus when it’s warmer?

That’s excellent to hear, this is a trait I’m looking for but hard to determine unless you hear it anecdotally, so thank you! Coincidentally all three of those are on my list for next year, so that’s doubly good to know.
