what a beautiful site there Joe. Our family slowly ended the tomato tradition. I’m thinking of bringing it back I just need the extra motivation. It’s just so hard to make time these days. Enjoy all the fun.
that’s dedication. You might have motivated me to start a small batch next year and take out my mother’s tomato equipment she left me to keep. We see. Have fun fratello. It is hard.... I decided it had to be a priority. Sometimes people drop out. I committed to keep this up as long as my body will let me do it. Even if I end up doing this alone some day... I'll still do it

I think that is wonderful and awesome that you make this a priority. Keeping the traditions going. Who knows, maybe your son will continue with it? Although, I can tell it is a LOT of work and it is a lot to ask of anyone to keep this going.Thank you. There's only so much I can do.. I have to pick the things most important to our culture. For sure, figs.... salumi, pomodori, cucuzzi.....
I wish I could go back to a time when this was just "something done at harvest"...... Nowadays, it seems its all "skip the dishes"... Although, it seems they cant take pasture raised hog and baby it for two years to make a craft salumiJust saying... there are NO shortcuts.
