Unk Prosciutto

Since other Adriatic's have been brought up here
Anyone growing Astoria Green? I got this one today , first fruit off a first year tree, started the cutting in early December. I'm impressed!!! I think it has the potential to hold its own against any of popular ones now.

Absolutely love Vince #3! At perfect ripeness, it’s intensely sweet and jammy with a wonderful texture that just melts in the mouth—every bite is addictive and leaves me wanting more.

Lol , I thought I was done to. But last winter at the DMV cutting swap, my buddy that I respect greatly had cuttings and said I HAD to grow it.

Also shameless plug, There will be a gorgeous 7 gallon, 4 ft tall Astoria Green in the Raffle at the upcoming DMV Figfest Main event September 13th in Gaithersburg Maryland.

Of course you had to!

Everyone is totally welcome to plug anything at any fig festival here...

Speaking of which...... figfanatic.com is proud to again be a prize sponsor for a bunch of DMV Fest raffles. :)
