unable to use formatting options

for some reason all the formatting options are very light gray and i'm unable to click on any of them. so i can't click the bold button or the hyperlink button. i'm using a chrome browser.

anyone else have this issue?

@epiphyte Do you mean that you see them and they don't work? Or that they are missing entirely?

Did they work on this same device and browser in the past?

I don't know how to do a screenshot on chromebook, but if you do please share with me what you're seeing.

i can see all the formatting options, but they are all much lighter color and i can't click on them.

Try this for me. Type a few letters... then click the bold just button once... then type a few more. don't worry if the colour of the button changes. Just click on it once and let me know what happens.
