I’ve always considered this one considering I think so highly of Blanche de Duex saisonsBlanche de Argentuil
I got this one from @Bigbill , Off the Beaten Path nursery. Bill speaks very highly of this one, that it is among his best overall figs. He has it planted inground in a climate a bit cooler then myself. I don't think anyone would consider it rare but it doesn't seem to be very widely spread.

Looks great mine is still rooting in a tree pot!Post a picture of a tree you started this year that you are proud or excited to grow.
This is Mehdi's Famous Fig. I'm very happy and excited to grow this heritage variety from @figologist . I started the rooting process the day I received it from the initial variety release. Around 1/7/26View attachment 19412
This is a variety is want to try alsoThis little beauty is Figo Roxo an I’m very excited for this one on this upcoming season. She grew real big for me last year and this year I want to try more of her fruits as they are incredible.
Lol the Sox on the fig pops are killing me!I am pretty proud of this LSU purple I started on 11/1/25 in a fig pop. I up potted most of my cuttings to tree pots, but I up potted one in to an empty 2 liter soda bottle. It’s great to get to see the roots still and the top growth on this one is over 2 and a half feet. I also included a group shot of the cuttings under my light. There are a few other cultivars that I started in November that are as big or bigger then this one, but I am really digging the upcycled 2 liter bottle and will do more of them next cutting season.
I didn't even notice that. Great idea.Lol the Sox on the fig pops are killing me!that is a very clever idea!!
I forgot about it when the sale started, and then it got sold out, but I saw he had it back in stock later on. I got 3 cuttings they all rooted very well.I’ve always considered this one considering I think so highly of Blanche de Duex saisons
That 1 gallon trade sized pot is what it is uppoted into.4 weeks, wow!
Did you start it directly in that pot?
At what point did you start fertilizing it?
May I ask what you use for fertilizer and how often?
I’m so curious!!![]()
Would you be willing to tell us what you do? I'm still tying to figure out what works.I use a pretty different method of rooting that I've come up with that works very well for me but it runs against what many people teach.
That's amazing. What's your method?I'm thrilled with this MBVS I started 11/23. Seeing some figlets already!
I fig popped. Can't find promix so I made my own version with peat, perlite, and mycorrhizal inoculant. Used clonex. Stuck my cuttings in a dark box next to my heater and waited. I had about a 70% success rate with that batch. Definitely room for improvement and I am learning a lot from the folks on here! That's amazing. What's your method?
One thing I've learned from this thread already is that I need to up my rooting game. Lol.
