I haven't posted much about this one for a long time.
I finally started to get some figs out of this again. In fact the tree has a bunch of figs. It's so unique.... and confusing. For instance I got a really early main... I think. I know 100% it grew off of this years wood but it looks like a breba compared to the rest. It has a weird growth habit as well. Difficult to tame.
It was good... really, really good! Nearly 100g. Melon and strawberry. Sweet and fresh.






When @"Figgerlickinggood"#7 posted that video of Calabria destinations, I was wondering if perhaps some stars had aligned or something. Especially since one shot showed where this came from . The position is actually, slightly around the corner from the image but the area is absolutely full of wild figs growing out of every crack and crevasse.... Like anywhere where they grow wild, some look better than others, so the radar needs to stay on. This one was pretty out of reach but the figs on it looked good enough to be worth some level of risk....
