No. The western red cedar is to pretty to paint.
If I did anything maybe a little wood burning?

@GoodFriendMike I haven't grown them in a few years but of every plant I've ever grown, no flower attracted more bees than artichoke. i don't know if you grow them but they're super low maintenance and for you should be perennial. I love eating them as well but then you don't get the flowers.

I have been wanting a hive for years.
Now I am researching and pricing everything.
I figure I can build it in a day.
Less than a day after the first one.
But really this should have been a winter project.
That way it would have been ready for the bees that are now flying around.

I got curious about getting bees and googled a bit and landing on this place that's actually in Louisiana.... The first thing I see.... Italian Bees!
