Tonight’s dessert

[FIGSinGA]

Just a little snack tonight. I-258 and my family heirloom.  The I-258 eyes opened and split a little but didn’t spoil. They were nice and moist, almost syrupy, while the heirloom was a dense sweet berry flavor-bomb. Not much seed crunch in either.

@"FIGSinGA"#15 . I-258 looking so good this variety is clearly photogenically, and scrumptiously delicious. Meanwhile that beautiful family heirloom makes me wish I could be adopted. Just wonderful looking fig fruits. Always wish I could see a picture of the trees Laden with ripening figs. Congratulations.

I always say It would be really difficult for me to pic a favourite... but I-258 is right there. I certainly can't think of a fig I like more...

Wow!  Those look great.  My Patsy's Pride finished fruiting several weeks ago, so I am envious.  Your family heirloom fig is still one of my favorites!

That looks good. All of my I-258 split and to make it worse an animal ate them all even through the organza bags.
