LOL, I understand your feeling about the Pepsi, most people don’t care for diet soda. My reason for it is not diet or health reasons but just simply I don’t care for foods that are too sweet.

LOL. I can understand how you feel that way about diet soda, most people do. My reason is not because of diet or health but I just don’t like things that are very sweet.
 
interesting ,your platter looks very tastey ! Funny one of my main interest in figs is there sweetness combined with assorted flavors .SWEETER THE BETTER !

Don’t get me wrong I love my fruit naturally sweet, it’s just drinks and deserts I don’t like super sweet.

You could doctor them up with some sugar or honey and cook them down in a pan into a really nice warm compote and pour it over your favorite ice cream. Makes a nice desert, at least this way your money didn't go to waste.
