The Fig Thing

Well didn't expect this to happen but it looks like one of my fig plants is a Thing ala John Carpenter.

Thankfully it moves as quick as a sloth so no real threat except to my other fig trees.

As you can see one of the branches has set roots in another figs pot.

I found this while rearranging my trees and actually had to pick up both pots to move them - think I'll have to separate the rooted portion from the rest of the branch if I plan to save it.

I imagine it'll be something like this...
