I recently visited the LSU AgCenter Hammond Research Station and collected fig cuttings from their research orchard. A couple of the fig trees weren’t in great shape, so I harvested the best-quality cuttings I could from those trees. Other trees produced very nice, high-quality cuttings.
All cuttings are offered as-is.
The winner will be the forum member who makes the closest prediction to the final score of the Super Bowl game this weekend.

How to Enter
- Submit your prediction for the final score of the Super Bowl
- One entry per person
- If you are offering a forum donation of more than $50, this must be clearly stated at the time of entry
Choosing the Winner
- Normally, the entry must correctly pick the winning team
- If no one predicts the exact score, the winner will be the entry closest to the actual score, determined by the smallest combined point difference (difference for each team added together)
- Donation Bonus Rule:
- If an entrant commits to a forum donation over $50:
- The requirement to correctly pick the winning team is waived
- The prize will include 6 additional cuttings
- The donation is only required if that entrant wins
- If an entrant commits to a forum donation over $50:
- In the event of a tie in total point difference, the earlier entry wins
Bonus Conditions (Exact Rules)
The winner’s prize will increase based on the following in-game events:- If ONE bonus condition occurs → prize increases from 6 to 12 cuttings
- If TWO or more bonus conditions occur → prize increases from 6 to 18 cuttings
- A pick-6 (interception returned for a touchdown)
- Any defensive or special teams touchdown (including fumble returns, blocked punt or field-goal returns, or kickoff/punt returns for a TD)
- The game goes to overtime
- The final score is decided by 3 points or fewer
Bonus Example
- Two bonus conditions occur → 18 cuttings
- Winner also committed to a forum donation over $50 → +6 cuttings
- Total prize = 24 cuttings, subject to available quantities per variety
