Any advice on where to get a Smith cutting or rooted plant for sale, exchange or donation?

I got a thin cutting with a terminal bud that failed to struggled to root and finally desiccated.

The few offerings at figbid.com are way too pricy.

thank you. Just ordered one this morning.
I believe you got that Smith cutting from our free program. If that is so I will try to replace it for you as well so you can have a heir and a spare. We wound up with a lot of Smith cuttings this year. They came from all over our generous membership. Every once in awhile a cutting fails. Let me see if I can find one more for you. If not you can trade the I owe you cutting for a Angelito cutting next dormancy. Which all came from @Blue Malibu mother tree originaslly.

That's so generous of yours, Figless! Not only free cuttings, but apparently, aftercare is included as well.
It doesn't get much better than that! What a wonderful fig community with great folks we have here! 🏆

I am currently out of town in Los Angeles CA. Please be patient with me things at my home Orchard are quite confused ATM. I will be reorganizing upon my return.

@Miloush as I stated recently I will not be operating the free cutting program next year. The honors will be going to someone else yet to be named. I am fulfilling any promises I made previous to this decision. If you can't find it please remind me this December. You have been a wonderful new member, and certainly deserve this.

No worries, you've done plenty already! Also, the Smith plant I bought from OTBP is doing great.

@Miloush OTBP Nursery has fantastic quality, I and so many others thoroughly recommend them. I bought a few myself this year, all are looking great. One of the reasons I had to bow out this year was the backlog of up potting, and propagation that is yet to be done here at figless farms. There were so many varieties I wanted to have ready for this coming dormancy for our membership. Such as 14 angelitos I upparted, that I am worried will not be ready to distribute in the numbers I had wished. Nevertheless I will more than meet the 300 cuttings promised I will donate to our cutting program Plus whatever cuttings I promised to members I have yet to fulfill... because of the different climate zones across the United States I am sure donated dormant cuttings will be coming in for months. In California I will be taking the cuttings in January...
