Anyone have any information on this fig? I got it from @FiggyEd. Apparently it’s a Lebanese fig. It rooted strong and is growing great. Multiple roots have grown out of the soil and air pruned. You can see the top growth obviously.

There is also an Algerian Chetoui fig, you might want to look into that. It has been speculated to be similar to Smith and supposedly it's a real winner!

Haha I just spelled it the way we say winter in my mom's family 😂 I am sure the person who said "shtawi" is right.

It comes from Lebanon. Town where my mom is from. It's green skin and red/pink inside. Yummy / refreshing not too intense but super sweet. I have a gigantic one in my yard.
