Anyone have any information on this fig? I got it from @FiggyEd. Apparently it’s a Lebanese fig. It rooted strong and is growing great. Multiple roots have grown out of the soil and air pruned. You can see the top growth obviously.

I believe it’s the same as shtawi. Supposed to mean the winter fig in Lebanese. So a late fig.

There is also an Algerian Chetoui fig, you might want to look into that. It has been speculated to be similar to Smith and supposedly it's a real winner!

Haha I just spelled it the way we say winter in my mom's family I am sure the person who said "shtawi" is right.

It comes from Lebanon. Town where my mom is from. It's green skin and red/pink inside. Yummy / refreshing not too intense but super sweet. I have a gigantic one in my yard.
