I like those pink lemonade when they have the blush of pink on them.So these Pink Lemonade blue berries are ripe now. The flavor is interesting. Not really a blue berry flavor. It's tart and not very sweet. Tastes more like grape than blue berries. They might be sweeter if I hadn't been watering them so much. If someone doesn't like the taste of blue berries, they might like these. They are very big, but not a lot of them. I have heard that this variety does not produce a lot. It did produce ripe berries earlier than the Powderblue even though they both bloomed at the same time. Maybe the Powderblue is taking longer because it is loaded with tons of berries.
Those are good. Haven’t blown me away yet with taste or quantityHere is the Powder Blue. They are smaller than the Pink Lemonade but there is a lot more of them, and much better flavor. I think they will get bigger when they are ripe, that's what they did last year.

If you want to be blown away, you may want to try haskaps, aka honey berries. I grow 6 varieties and the whole family is crazy about them. They are like much larger blueberries with a much more intense flavor. Let them ripen until they fall off or almost fall off the bush and you will be wowed. I was. Those are good. Just checked my Chippewa’s todayNot my Rabbiteye, but my highbush and raspberries are coming in full swing.
Cottonseed meal is a good soil acidifier .Berry tone and peat moss also work pretty well in acidifying soil! May have to try ammonium sulfate next time as a trial
