While it’s unfair to compare anything to the Beast, Unknown #5 is a very strong rooter.
There are literally awesome roots all around the bag.

Description of #5:

• Variety #5: Portuguese Profundo Desconhecido
  • = Complete Unknown, as the owner offered very few details around that tree. This one may be a surprise for anyone who successfully roots it.
  • #5 is said to be a green fig with white pulp (amber pulp?) but the taste profile is unknown

According to my notes, it's supposed to be a vigorous grower. Hopefully, once it starts to root, it will grow like crazy.

  • = Dark Ruby
  • Variety #3 was a dark fig with Ruby Red pulp.

#4 seems to be the first winner here, I have 2 reg fig pops with roots. Unknown on the hybrids, they aren’t putting out an leaves yet which is fine.

The smell doesn’t bother me but my girls and wife can tell every time I fertilize with it in the garden. Worst though all the critters around smell it too

I definitely notice far more critter activity after fertilizing with Fish Fertilizer, but luckily it kind of goes back to normal after about a day or two...

Yessssss!!!!! Oh I am looking very regularly, and my anticipation goes up every day that I don’t see roots. Then when I see that first root I am ecstatic and relieved

Here is a single node number 4. On 12/22 I put it in a 1-in layer of wet sand over top of a 50/50 mix of coir/DE in 24 oz cup.

I think I'll cover it with mix now.

No “Weak Sister” here - her roots are busting out and stretching the bottom of the bag!
