Ok here is the squash casserole I made

Old School Squash Casserole. Found it on YouTube very simple and it is delicious.

For my topping I used 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers. It’s not in the recipe but I sprinkled paprika on top of the crumb topping to give it a little color. I baked it in a 9x13 baking dish.

Try pealed squash in place of apples in an apple pie - be sure to remove the seeds and cut the squash flesh in neat rectangular pieces. Use the usual sugar and apple pie spices.

We've made this and taken it to gatherings and no one even suspects until we tell them!

I have made this for about 30+ yrs and my kids never knew. I do remember having to use lemon juice along with your ingredients .
