NV1, from yesterday... pretty excellent for a November 1st fig in Maryland. Great deep taste, and beautiful red/purple interior color. I love the figs that still hold up taste and complexity even late in the season, when several of my varieties have lost most of their leaves. My larger NV1 tree from last year produced 0 figs this year. Probably because I pruned it too hard last winter. This fig was off a cutting from that tree that I started in January 2024.
