NJ Fig Farm sale starts tonight at 8 pm

I'm such a fan of Aaron and NJ Fig Farm. In my humble opinion, NJ is a treasure trove of proven, common figs brought from the old country and kept because they're good. Aaron has been a steadfast fig hunter in his area and has found some amazing specimens. I credit him for making U. Prosciutto available to the community at large.

If anyone is in contact with Aaron, please ask him to drop in and say hi!

I'm not that far from his operation. I'd love to stop by in the Late summer and see some of his heritage finds.

Great selection, many I’ve never heard of.
Yeah—I was tempted to get Gentille Giallo Piatto because Aaron describes it as tasting like blood oranges, which my hubby loves.

Now that I’ve posted about it, someone, someone will surely buy this rare fig and get it out of my shopping cart for me!

But how will you know if it taste like that without growing it yourself? :)
