Need help tips of new growth drying out.

Glad it's looking better for you, I noticed you are rooting some pretty thin cuttings.
To be honest I never really had a lot of luck rooting cuttings that thin.
Basically had the same issue you are having, I don't know if they just run out of juice or the will to live.
I'd have to say my success rate wit them is probably under 50%.

Aha thanks that makes sense, yeah some are pretty thin but most are atleast pencil thickness, but i do prefer them a bit thicker.

Because i now lost my lsu champagne and hollier, i decided to get a few more cuttings off champagne, hollier, zaffiro and vincenzo both are new to my collection if i root them, the seller is a great guy and will send me some thicker cuttings this time around that are further down the brances🙈

Funny enough i just went to my set up looked at the cuttings and indeed all the thinner cuttings are the once struggling, and the nice thick once are the once that from the start create nice big and thick leaves. The thinner cuttings make very small leaves that easily die.

I have some very thin ones going right now, hoping they make it, but not expecting it

That is what I am seeing in my water rooting this year. Thin cuttings were first to make leaves and the appearance of roots, then leaves wilt and die. Thicker cuttings have been slower to get going, but are still trucking along.

Just a small new update, almost all cuttings seem to be fine now, only one cutting and tip dried out completely, i checked the roots and the bottom of the cutting no mold and the roots looked good not sure why it dried out maybe the growth point was to close to the end off the cutting and the end dried because of lack of humidity and light.

Ps: i also opened the bags up now and just keep them around the pots for easy watering from below😁

Very nice. They’re coming out of their shell :)
