Ms/Miss Hall Variety

I am a patient woman (and very excited about the possibility of getting my hot little hands on cuttings later in the year).
Have you been wanting this variety for a while? The first I heard about it was when I bought it in November, the seller had it and I was interested since it was new to me so I got it, unfortunately there isn't much online about it at all.

My name is Eddy by the way, what's yours?

Hi Eddy,

I'm Heather.

I came across information on Ms Hall on Ourfigs last year. I was chatting with another gentleman about interesting heritage or family figs and unknowns from the south. The subject of MH came up.

I love old family backyard figs and south Louisiana is full of them. Lots of wonderful childhood memories of foraging and sharing them with my cousins. Some folks search for the rare named varieties, and I want the ones that have loving memories attached. My college bestie and maid of honor is from Tallahassee, so I was definitely intrigued by a variety like MH from there.

Best,
Heather

At long last! I found her! I have a rooted cutting of Ms. Hall on the way from Stan of Gulfcoastexoticsfigs on Etsy. AND, he will likely have more in the future!

I feel like Rocky and Apollo Creed all rolled into one!
Awesome! Those were my favorite movies growing up haha, I would watch rocky 3 before a baseball game to get pumped up😂

Glad you were able to snag one from him!

Brain damage and killed by a Russian? Only joking - congrats! Your search efforts paid off, hopefully it does well for you.

Hey Eddy,

I loved the Rocky movies too when I was a kid! :ROFLMAO: I still play "Eye of the Tiger," "Living in America," and "No Easy Way Out" from time to time as part of my ultimate 80s movie soundtrack set.

Haha yes! I used to have a bunch of the soundtracks...all great songs, but one of my favorites that I really started to love as I got older was "take you back" the dudes on the street standing around a metal drum with a fire burning in it while they sang that while rocky was walking by saying what's up to them. I still find myself singing that regularly, no joke 🤣🤣
