More Late Season Figs

The first CDD Roja and I-258 that I picked a couple weeks ago did not taste good. Now I'm finally getting some good ones. The Strawberry Verte is the 1st fig that I ripened indoors. I blasted it with photons. All these figs were delicious and I think the I-258 is my largest fig yet.

Well look at you! lol

I'm just a little jealous, those look great for this time of year..nice man!
Thanks, I think the I-258 would have been even better if I would have waited another day. It just seems that this late in the season it is taking so long for them to ripen, I get impatient.

Yeah I'm surprised you are getting any that look that good!
They take forever here with the cold nights.
I've already stripped my trees of remaining figs and pruned some of them.
More to go....oy

I have had more splitting. During the regular season almost no splitting but now even with no rain there is quite a few split wide open.
