I am starting seeds soon and will have a couple trees growing in my chocolate shop. They definitely need much warmer weather than our winters provide.

Did you get some seeds from your single bean origin chocolates? That would be quite fun. Will they ever fruit potted?

It's definitely a project I would like to do. That guy in Baltimore totally has the potential to bend and graft something cozy, maybe even a loveseat.

Maybe easyer for you to just cut it off at ground and send that so you do not have to bare root it ?I am going to graft it to vigorus in ground root stock to get the most growth the fastest anyway .What do i owe you and or what are you looking for ? PS not going to do any grafting till early feb..

You got it Phil, I'll get a handful of cuttings from the mother of different sizes and get them to you before February. You definitely helped me out last cutting season.
This is a very vigorous grower.
I have a 1 gallon tree that I'm keeping to try dwarfing/bonsai. In one season it was a fully developed mini tree full of fruit. I'll get a picture of it posted tomorrow.
@The Figtator , I hope you don't mind me posting this other variety on your thread. Would you mind extending an invitation for the Montebello UNK owner to the DMV Fig Growers Group Figfests. We have been holding a Spring and Fall event for a few years now.

Yea. This is more for fun and the novelty of having a cacao tree growing but I am going to be growing Criollo Cacao
