Mattepinta

@ETXfigs I'm planning to acquire Mattepinta this year from Paolo Belloni. I saw his beuatiful tree when I visited him this August. It has very nice 5 lobes leaves. Paolo told me great things about it. The only catch is that it is late. It is the most grown and widespread variety in Puglia, together with Verdesca. People there also love Verdesca and Paolo too. To cite Paolo himself, he told me: "People love Verdesca, because of its big personality." I love how he and people there approach the fig trees.

Ok, it seems like I have a photo of myself only under the "Verdesca" tree. So the photo, where I am, is "Verdesca". The leaves and the tree without me is "Mattepinta". Don't know if it helps in any kind, it just remineded me great memories to this summer and my stay at Pomona Garden

Those are beautiful fig trees!
