Listened to a great podcast episode today...

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and today one came up in my feed. It was from Stephen Biggs ( @SteveB ), and the new series he has been doing called "Fig Culture". It was a great interview with with figfanatic's own Nina Jay ( @9ah-figlet ) . Nina did a great job, covering a ton of info on her fig growing. I highly recommend it. I recognized Stephens voice right away, and have listened to many episodes of his "Food Garden life" podcast before.

Thanks so much @ChesapeakeFigs for the callout and to @SteveB for the opportunity to join his podcast. It only came out yesterday, and I’ve been running around so much I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet.

Steve is so easy to talk to and an excellent writer. He has a new book coming out on growing figs in cold weather, and he turned my Bubba Gump-esque ramblings about figs and cold weather storage into clear concise tips for his book.

Because Steve’s in the process of writing his book, he’s been reaching out to the fig community. Definitely follow the podcast to see who shows up next! And, if you have a chance to join his podcast, don’t pass it up! It’s a lot of fun and Steve is a great guy (and a friend of @TorontoJoe and the FigFanatic community).

That's awesome. I had a fig picture on Stevens newsletter a few months ago. I listen to podcasts while I work in the garden and they put me to sleep in bed at night. After a hard day that doesn't take long.

I just listened to the podcast and might I say you did an excellent job. Sounded like you do this sort of thing all the time. You were a great ambassador to the fig community.
Aww thanks @Poplee it was my first podcast. When Steve asked, I told him yes because I wanted to do things that frighten me. I’m glad you liked it!
