Late season winners and losers

@"TorontoJoe"#1   you're probably right, mine did start earlier than normal...so finishing earlier would make sense. Lol.

As for the Tullamore, my brother in law sent me a pic and told me it was really smooth...so naturally I had to get some.
At $30 ish a bottle it's not too bad at all.
But not as good as my all time favorite Red Breast. 😁
I seen Red Breast and Green Spot have gone up in price to $80 for the 12 yr.

I tend to go more to the Scottish side. My favourite is Cragganmore... But yes, at $100 a bottle I don't get it often.

I'm surprised the dehumidifier works well when the temps drop. Is it a Peltier type?

So the grow tent in the garage is only to extend season? Do you leave them in the tent over the winter when dormant?

I've noticed the bugginess with the comments. The solution is coming very soon.... By way of a major platform upgrade. I think everyone will be quite pleased.

Oh, no. You need a heavy-duty one. I use a 30-pint Whirlpool dehumidifier. It gets filled up pretty quickly, like in 8-10 hours. I'd get a 50-pint if I were buying now. Mine will be plumbed into the drain, I can't be emptying that thing twice a day again.

Yes, only to extend the season. I can start my trees in the basement any time, no issues. In the garage, it's a bit more challenging as it gets very warm in the tent and is still very cold in the garage. March would be the earliest I'd start my trees in the garage.

Yes, they stay dormant in the tent and will be woken up in March by turning on the lights and the dehumidifier, which both will raise the temps enough to wake up the trees and let them grow.
