Late Bday gifts

I have everything ready for tomorrow, a day of fig jam and potato soup, also loading up the freeze dryer!
Yesterday I decided to make potato soup today so when my son was going to the store I told him to get me celery. When he got back he forgot the it. LOL. So I will be making it next week.

We couldn't decide on what to make, once in the store we made up our mind and grabbed all the stuff...haven't had it in a while so really looking forward to it. :)

@ktrain I've watched Harvey's jam video, but have not yet had enough figs (that make it past my mouth and into a bowl or bag :ROFLMAO: ) to try this.

But look who else has a youtube jam recipe! Our good friend Randall. I haven't watched this one yet, but thought you might want to watch this one also, along with Harvey's. (I guess it is fig "jelly", but isn't that the same thing?)

I'll check this out now, thanks.
I have also found another one that sounds interesting with no sugar added.
Though I would use Allulose or Munkfruit sugar in place of white sugar.
But this one doesn't use any...just some Honey.

Apparently fig are the #1 "fruit" with the highest content of sugar according to this guy.
Easily looked up...but adding sugar to it seems overkill in light of that fact.

Some have the videos set where they won’t play in third party sites. Might have to just share the link
Yeah even if I just paste the link it won't work.

If you copy and paste this in YT...thats it.
