Good luck. If they don’t root, they’ll be plenty of cuttings this winter. Less trees means more care for the ones you already have.I decided to recut and stick the last two in a fig pop. I’m a little wary though because they have been trying to root since December. But hey, stranger things have happened![]()

December?! How did you manage to not pull it and feed the stick to the dumpster?! I was just inquiring about my WM#1 thick cutting having a bunch of roots and still no sign of life on top after 30 days in the dirt - where do I purchase some of this patience?I got one that’s in a hybrid fig pop that just now swole up a bud. Deal with enough cuttings and it’ll come to some degree. I haven’t done a ton of them, but already seen cuttings sit there for months and not root/rot, seen top growth a couple months after rooting, seen cuttings root then stall for idk how long. Every cutting/tree has its own time.December?! How did you manage to not pull it and feed the stick to the dumpster?!
