Hello I’m looking for an airlayer or something that will start producing Capri figs for next season. TIA
Not sure if anyone here has one. But an established bare root tree would be the best option.Hello I’m looking for an airlayer or something that will start producing Capri figs for next season. TIA
Will you have cuttings of capri figs that produce profichi? Not sure if anyone here has one. But an established bare root tree would be the best option.
A marcot from an already producing tree may or may not produce for you next season.
I’ve rooted many summer cuttings of my caprifigs that have produced pollen for me. These are possibly able to have a profichi or two depending how well they grow before dormancy. I’ll post them up when the time comes. Will you have cuttings of capri figs that produce profichi?

It will be end of September but I’ll make sure to do a post here before I share to figbidOk I’ll keep looking for them.
I’ll do my best to remember lol. I only started a handful of ucd so I’m hopeful they make it. Summer cuttings have been iffy in the past but those were mailed. All my cuttings were stuck within an hour of cutting so that should increase the oddsVery nice. I’m getting excited for September put me down for 1 dc2 and 1 UCD!
Post some leaf photos of your Croisic. I have it and mine is true to type.LSU dc2
UCD #1
Wild #1
Those are the only ones I’ve verified yet.
Unverified I have:
Capri q
Enderud
Saleeb
Croisic
I will also be starting seeds from dc2/dc6 crosses this winter and trying to get some new varieties of persistent capris for the future
Post some photo's of the seedling's when you do. This is two of my FPTC X Capri Q seedling's. I have a few of them and can not wait to see what they produce. Hopefully next year.LSU dc2
