I think BM in general are harder to root.
I am doing a BMKK fig pop, and it’s noticeably slower.

BMs are generally slower in growth but not harder to root. Try to find a different source if you have one that stucks. Most of my trees are from rooting cuttings. I have rooted BMs about a few dozen of times from various sources. BMs success rate were average to above average.

I have a couple BM trees rooted from cuttings. Don’t remember them being any harder or taking longer than any other.
