Ischia Black AD Breba

First time trying an Ischia Bkack AD breba and it's pretty good.

By the looks of it I should've waited another day but was pleased with it.

It had a slight figgy flavor (it needed another day) and actually tasted like a honey fig but with some plum tones as well as hints of berry and was above moderately sweet.

Don't know if the first picture captures the wine red speckles on the dark skin but it looks pretty exotic (which I like).

Last pic (just added) shows the wine specks a little better.20250623_160131.jpg

Brother that looks nearly perfectly ripe, when those sides start to become translucent.
Color is awesome...looks great.

I'm surprised on how the color turned out - wasn't expecting a red wine color at all.

Got one more that's a day behind this one so that means Wednesday it gets picked!

It's terrible we only get one at a time. lol
I need a bowl dangit...but thats the breba way! :)

I pluck most of my breba off because they.... well, they suck here. They're bland and just meh! Yours look like real figs.

Great! Now I have breba envy! :cautious:

Bordeaux make the best breba! Jason Ischia Black or AD black ischia was rumored to be Negretta, but regardless, they're all Bordeaux types therefore all good. Not many bad Bordeauxs out there!
