Installing the Fig Fanatic App

Probably the best new feature about the mobile upgrade is what’s called a progressive web app. The site will behave like an app by default but you can in fact install it properly to your mobile home screen like a regular app.

The first time you go on to the new site using your phone, open the browser menu. Down at the bottom you’ll see the “install the app” option. You’ll be directed to a video that will guide you through the process. I very much recommend you enable “push notifications” when prompted. This way you don't need to worry about emails.

Isn't is past your bedtime? :)

The app is pretty cool. I highly recommend enabling notifications
Mom let me stay up just a little bit later.
I have enabled notifications...is that what it does?
Never installed the "app" but I do get notifications.

That's just it...I do not have the option to install an app, not like the example shown above.
Not a big deal though.

You don't see it in the site menu? Can you DM me with your phone model and what browser you're using? I'd like to open a ticket on this.

@ktrain - You did this?

I’ve never encountered this before. May I ask which cookie option you selected and what was the result?

The screen shots really help. Thank you

I will definitely look into this

@Motherwise

What happens if you accept cookies? This is very strange as we don't use cookies here. At least none that aren't essential to running the system as we don't collect data.

It was also recommended that you clear the cache by the following steps
  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Website Data.
  2. Tap Remove All Website Data.

Please let me know if that has any effect
