I Got Roots!

Here are some of the new recruits for the 2026 season. Thanks to the generousity of @Bofig these are some cuttings that were on my WL. Unk Prosciutto was at the top of the list. I don't see any roots from Exquisito yet.

I potted them October 23rd and took the pics on November 18th. The first visible root was on November 11th.

Also remember that different varieties take different lengths of time to develop roots.

i got mine in theirs on oct 31st and they have some bumps on the edges for some when i just pulled em, but no full on roots

As long as they aren’t rotting I wouldn’t worry. Some cuttings can take forever.

I am. There was some mold in one so I removed the bag to try and dry it out a little.

Are the cuttings good? They weren't in a refrigerator for a very very long time were they?

I used this product diluted in the water that I mixed into the medium. I saw a youtube video of a knowledgeable member here that uses this product when propagating figs but I can't remember who it was. Now I'm starting to worry that I may end up with a bunch of roots and no top growth. If that happens I guess I will put something high in Nitrogen in there, but I am not at that point yet. Today I noticed that one of them has two very small green buds starting to sprout, so we will see what happens.
