25 forgotten veggies people used to grow to survive the Great Depression. There’s some on this list I enjoyed seeing and wonder if these seeds are still available.

 
I wish the dandelions never made their way here.... They're so frustrating to try and control. I gave up. My parents ate them but now they just take over everything...

It's interesting how different cultures did such amazing things with natives when they had to. The root veg that I love here weren't a thing in southern italy but but beans definitely kept many of us alive.

If this video were a bit more international... they may have mentioned the cucuzza... The Serpent of Sicily. It produces so much food, in the worst soil.
