How does this look for a spring garden?

I saw this video on companion planting. It’s a great idea. This was for growing cucumbers but has to work for other veggies too.
Yeah it works for pretty much any vegetable and even flowers aswell. I planted a bunch of basil and marigolds around my tomatoes last summer, never saw a single hornworm all season nor did they get any pest damage

Thank you all! I hope I'm not too early and this works well. There may be a problem with my seeds or starting method.

I will plant a few herbs throughout and leave a few beds empty to succession plant a few things, that will be easy because I have double the space I thought.

I will plant more every two weeks until mothers day and start again in fall. This area is a bit shady so I hope it would stop bolting better. Should I cover the seeds before they sprout so no critters get them?

One other thing I enjoyed about this video is not only did he say which herbs that are good to use but he even lets you know which ones NOT to use.

If you have a serious issue with squirrels / rodents then I would. If they’re not that big of a nuisance I don’t think they’d bother your seeds this early in the year, yet haha.
