Or WM#1If you want to start with three only
Honey would be lsu champagne/constantine de algerie
Berry or Adriatic would stick with green michurinska
Mt etna of any kind really or a Celeste.
Those three choices would get you the best start in my opinion
Yes. I'd definitely add NSDC, Labritja, Melanzana Meriscola (orange), and LSU Tiger (peachy). You guys have created a monster. I started out wanting THREE FIGS

- Unk Pastilliere
Anyway any flavor categories im missing LOL
Starting out with best three I was going for the earliest of Adriatic types. In the beginning I feel I was very discouraged by the “best” on the first Adriatic I had that took so long to ripen I only got a couple for two years of labor. I learned much now on how to ripen faster but beginners would be best suited to the earliest of varieties for quick wins.Or WM#1
I got it, if it takes i will gladly share.Damn you whoever took the Vincent #3 lol I missed it.. glad someone bought it
i think the CDD cant really ripen where I'm at, but maybe not?I seconded green Michurinska, and will raise you a CDD Roja. Both were in my favorite figs this year. The best one I had was an Azores Dark that was hidden under a bunch of leaves and wrinkled to h3ll and back in August. It was fantastic!
Not w/out a head start I'm afraid... but lots of Mt Etnas, Adriatics, Breba, etc.. and maybe keep 10-20 in large pots for those late-season gems and it's still very manageable, especially if you graft several varieties onto those large potted ones.i think the CDD cant really ripen where I'm at, but maybe not?
