It always sells out. I thought this year that everyone already had it in their collection because it’s not on anyone ‘s wish list.

Me and my wife did something like that one year. That was the only way I could get all the varieties I wanted.
 
I was at a competition for my daughter and brought my laptop in so I could try to get
Some cuttings. I had to keep my. Hotspot and PayPal accounts open to complete order and I got anfew

yeah this is what i did. would have been a lot faster if paypall didnt bug for 5 minutes

Didn't hear about this variety till now.....does anyone have any experiences with it that they can share? I hear it's a late season fig but how late? How would it do in the PNW?

It’s very late. It wouldn’t do well at all unless you give it a good head start
 
What is the fascination with Gozo Gem? Sold out fast 2 yrs in a row. Not widely commented on. Harvey's description sounds good though.

Good question lol. I have this one and it dropped all the figs(real drop+BFFs drop) the first two seasons. BFFs also love love this variety. Last season I only got one ripe fig from it and it was tiny and late. It might need maturity to become good.
 
It’s funny that Big Bill had Beltrana cuttings for sale since December and it was still available yesterday. After Beltrana was sold out at Harvey’s website, it’s no longer available from Big Bill today. Lots of people must be interested in it now.
 
Jack and I picked up 41 fig cuttings, a few we got 2 of if they were cheap. We got exactly 50 cuttings total (it was our limit :) ) - mostly newer and less distributed varieties. We have most of Harvey's collection thanks to his wonderful sales and excellent cutting quality.

We also picked up the capri/mulberry/pom we don't have yet (9/50).

Has anyone tried his variety called Shafter? I already placed my order so I can't go back but that one looks interesting.
