Guess what I got today!

Be a while before we get one here. Still in the mid to high 80’s during the day. Do you normally get them this time of year?
 
Teresa, earlier today I saw the same forecast for North NJ. A one day freeze would likely put an end to chances of ripening additional figs this year for me. Next up------Asian Pears.
 
It’s been an odd season for sure.

I shouldn’t be getting temperatures much lower than the low 40s Friday, but looks like a Nor’easter is coming Sunday and Monday with heavy winds and rains.

Will you be moving your fig trees or protecting them in any way?

Depends on what the forcast is Thursday morning. If it still freeze Thursday night then yes, they will go into the shed but my ingrounds I will try to cover up.
