I’ve used a small 10X16 greenhouse for a few years and I love it, however it has gotten small for my projects, as I am always pushing my seasons, and growing plants that need more heat than my 7a zone gives.
I plunged and bought a big greenhouse kit, 20x72, tall walls. Is a 16 ft tall (at the cusp) greenhouse.
I placed it in a fenced, sunny location where my large guardian dog lives, and my sheep and cows don’t have access to. My dog keeps the deer, squirrels and raccoons away, so I can move the figs outside and not have so much pressure from creatures… except birds…
Ground is leveled and I laid down the fabric this weekend, I am so excited I can’t wait. It is a big undertaking and is just mostly myself putting it up.
I’ll post pics as I make progress.
