@"Figology"#21 @"TorontoJoe"#1 I was just looking through our very new figfanatic archives. Well this Geno#2 thread clearly had its picture posting difficulties. It appears that a great deal of the pictures posted on our archives are already malfunctioning. On the other hand the video links seem to be doing just fine.
This is one of my top 3 figs and definitely a Smyrna type. This fig tastes similar to Unk. Pastiliere but is a little sweeter and less tart.
Even late season and small, today’s fig was delicious. I can’t hardly wait to see what this tree does in-ground and in 5 years.
