I would spend $15 on a home DNA test to tell me the sex of a plant

If you are chasing seedlings or hybridizing figs and would like to know the sex of the plant and you could do a mail-in test at home for $15, would you be interested?

That would be an awesome tool to save time and space if the end goal was to solely utilize male or female plants. That would be half the split on finding common females

My interest peaks at around $5.

$15 seems a little salty. What if I had multiple seedlings. Would they all be categorized as one test, or seperates.

Many people use https://farmerfreeman.com/ for their fig trees. I find both the females and Capri's to be valuable. So I would not bother with the testing. But if you are only growing out a couple and only want females. The $15 would save you a lot of money in the long run.
Considering time, soil, fertilizer, pots, and water.
