Forum glitch

This is a re-post since some restoration had to be done

I wanted to bring everyone up-to-date as best I can. Late last night for reasons we're still trying to determine, a number of threads and accounts of new members disappeared.

I'm still trying to get some answers and have people working on restoring everything.

Best I can tell at this time is that an automatic "minor update" took place, and that the update did not play well with some of the add-on software that's used here. It appears to have been restored to a state of a back up from a previous date

I disabled any backups from taking place in the future that aren't planned to prevent this happening again.

I'm doing my best to get everything back. If you are a new member whose account was deleted, please reach out to me fanaticfig@gmail.com
 
We've been able to restore more of the missing posts and new members up to Monday night. We're still working on getting more back but in the event you see this and your account is still not here, please reach out to me at the above email

I do get notified, but I just want to make sure I don’t miss anyone. I believe the only new member that wasn’t restored is Spiritfarmva.

@rnexus - Os this the person you referred to the forum? My memory is dodgy.

What I was suggesting is to check your previous and newest alerts for new members, especially if it was sent to your personal email. That would bypass any glitches and show all members.

The last few days I’ve been relying on just alerts rather than emails.… So the alerts went with the glitch. I’ll be switching back to emails as well so I have additional backup.
 
Spiritfarmva appears to be back in the active member list so I think we have everyone back.

I'm still looking into what can be done for DM's and a handful of posts... There was some good biochar info that came in yesterday
