FigFanatic DONATION /FigGazer action # 2

WOW LOOKS LIKE YOU COULD LIVE OFF THE LAND THERE ,NICE WOODS TOO .QUAK QUAK .
The farmer was nice enough to plant grains and brassicas as winter cover crop. Whitetails are all over it every night. But no hunting because the family that owns the field says so. There's a quarry lake about 1/4 mile to the left of the picture that holds thousands of waterfowl every night

No hunting? That's like parking a Ferrari in my driveway, handing me the keys and saying I can't drive it!

I know it's been an adjustment, lol
I've had my days in the past. But currently my deer rifle is as noisy as a whisper unfortunately the 12ga still uses its outside voice.
I still believe in my old Marlin 30-30, no hushing that thing up.
But here in the South...it's pretty much all you need.

I just drove 6 hrs round trip to eat two ducks and going to do it again wed . some times instead of hunting should just go another few miles to a great french/bask restrant for there duckala orange and marinated beef tough .cheaper than hunting also.

Have you ever raised your own meat ducks? Some of the breeds grow pretty fast.

Our muscovies always grew crazy fast.
A friend ours had jumbo pekins and they grew even faster.
