Sold to me as an improved Celeste.

This is a breba from today, last year(1st year) main crop was the same weight and size roughly. Seems like Improved Celeste doesn't get large.

Can anyone confirm if they get this size or have an idea on this one?

excellent flavor, slight fruit hints but mostly extremely extremely sweet. By far the best breba this year for now.

My Celeste do not get that big, but brebas can be bigger than the main crop.

I don’t have any Improved Celeste to compare so I can’t comment if it is true to type.

It does look like Celeste, just almost double the size on average which threw me off.

I have read Celeste can improve(improved celeste lol) and become bigger and more productive, mind you, this one has never dropped any figs at all which is unlike a true Celeste.

I'll have to continue noting down details when the main crop comes in.
 
It definitely looks in the Celeste ballpark, be it Classic or Imp.
Never had any Classic that I would consider large.
Probably mid 20g area on average.
 
Can we get a few leaf pics plz? I've been lucky enough to eat a few early imp celeste that were likely breba & these are def not imp celeste. It's esp lacking the vertical ribbing pattern indicative of imp celeste
