Came from a 7-8 year old tree. Planted it last year, grew quickly due to established roots. Identified as an Olympian by seller but can anyone confirm if it looks like an Olympian? Not fully ripened Breba yet, look to be roughly the same size as last years fruit. Doesn't ever darken to complete purple or dark red on the skin, usually will stay like this color or a tad darker.

long thick stem typically on all of them and has a brown inside, not red berry type but more of a sugar type.

Here's what Ross has to say about this English brown turkey type Fig. Often thought to be either a mutation of EBT or a synonym. From what I'm looking at yours could certainly be an Olympian. Does it have the taste of peaches? often mentioned as a taste type of Olympian.

Fascinating video, always mind blowing the variations of one variety that can exist.

Honestly, I know it tasted quite good last year but I lose track of what tastes like what sometimes 🤣

I'll have to start writing everything down now.

I have a picture of last years main crop, this was 6 months after it rooted in year 1.

@YanBayan whatever @ktrain said above. Is going to be right. While I have always grown Olympian from the very start, it was grown to provide cuttings. I haven't fruited very many of them. This year it will be the same grown in a three branch form to provide as many cuttings for new members as possible. To my eye Ross's video, and @ktrain pictured fruit montage look very similar to one another. Also to my untrained eye my humble Olympian looks similar as well.
